Get The Care You Deserve No Matter Where You Live

Time is something we all could use more of.  Over the past year I’ve discovered that time was a major limitation for my clients to get the care they needed.  So I began offering Telemedicine consults.

Through this transition, I’ve also discovered that for many patients it’s simply more convenient for them. No more traffic, parking, or unpredictable driving time.  Parents don’t have to stress over child care planning. High performers short on time can squeeze an appointment in from work, home or school on a break.

This is an excellent and accessible option for anyone who is unable to meet me at my clinic. I have been gradually increasing my availability for telemedicine over 2018 and will continue to increase my availability further in 2019. I’ve been a licensed Naturopathic doctor since 2002 practicing in the General Toronto area (GTA) in Ontario.

How does it work?

I use a simple, secure, medical-grade video platform where we meet face to face. Specifically for telemedicine consults we will not be meeting at a physical location. For those in remote locations, minimize your commute and access naturopathic care from the convenience of your home.

Naturopathic and Osteopathic visits are covered under most extended health care plans.

Step 1: Book Your telemedicine Appointment Online or contact us at info@drjasonloken.com

Step 2: Fill out your intake form that will be e-mailed to you before your visit, so you are not spending your valuable visit time filling out forms. Dr. Jason Loken ND will best prepare for your visit. Yes, he will review the questionnaire before your appointment. This process allows for a more effective & efficient first visit.

Step 3: Before your appointment look for your appointment email from regroup connect that will confirm the time of your appointment and provide you with a link for your telemedicine consult. At the time of your appointment you can click on the URL provided in the email or cut and paste it into your browser and it will automatically connect us at the time of our appointment through a video conferencing platform called zoom. This platform allows us to communicate face to face through video or via audio only depending on your preference. If you are using your computer then all you have to do is click on the link and we will be connected.

If you are using a smart phone or tablet you need to first download the free  zoom app. It is all very straight forward and simple to set up.

Step 4: Have an enlightening, informative visit with Dr. Jason Loken ND.

Step 5: Discuss your treatment plan. And, when indicated laboratory requisition is sent directly to you to take to a nearby lab for testing. Supplement recommendations are shipped right to your door.

Step 6: Processed payment and receive receipt eligible for naturopathic coverage.

Step 7: Set up appropriate follow up appointments as needed on your journey to Optimal Health.

Please note my areas of focus are mostly conducive to Telemedicine care: Walsh approach and mental health concerns, most chronic digestive concerns, most chronic men and women’s health concern, metabolic and lifestyle goals. A referral is suggested when something falls outside the scope of practice or requires a physical exam.
